Angmering In Bloom Association
Spring Fair Sunday 7 April 2013
This proved to be a great success and encouraged by some welcome Spring sunshine, many families came along to enjoy the fun, games and stalls.
There were a good variety of Craft Stalls, selling such diverse items as house signs to knitted goods, also two Charity stalls representing Angmering Friends of Chestnut Tree House and the Angmering Branch of the RNLI.

There were fun and games for all the family, giving the opportunity for both young and old to win prizes, competing on the Hoopla, Buzzer Hand, Play Your Cards Right, Lucky Dip, Marbles and Pick a Lolly.
The 'Win a Bottle' raffle stall was a great success, with bottles being generously donated by some Parish, District and County Councillors, as well as local residents. The sale of plants, including ones kindly donated by VHB nurseries, books, toys and cakes proved ever popular.

The sale of the Sunflower Competition bags to the under 16's went well and we will look forward to judging the tallest one later in the year.
A local photographer, Lester Pugh, created quite a bit of interest with a number of families taking the opportunity to have their portraits taken.
The Magician, Ben Lathbury, was on hand to keep both adults and children entertained with his amazing card tricks.

The Committee wishes to thank all those willing volunteers and everyone who attended the Fair, that helped to make this such a successful community event. The event raised nearly £500 towards Angmering in Bloom projects.
