Angmering Village Flower beds
Nursery Road bed
In June the bed was planted with begonias, gazanias, ageratums and salvias for summer. Stones were also placed in the bed saying "Plants 4 Bees"
The ladies from the WI, along with Alan the gardener, planted up the Village Hall raised bed to celebrate the WI centenary. They planted mauve lobelia, white alyssum and green buxus to represent the amethyst, pearl and emerald colours of the WI organisation
In February all the hard work of planting bulbs came out in a fantastic display.
On Wednesday 22 October John, Lorraine, Anne, Brenda and Julia spent a beautiful sunny morning planting crocus bulbs under the road signs along Arundel Road. Hopefully next Spring they will make a cheerful colourful display for all to enjoy.
High Street bed
On 18 September Roger, Lorraine and Julia weed, trim and prune the plants and shrubs and also plant Crocus for Spring
Village Center beds
On 22 September Lorraine, Brenda and Julia remove some of the Gauras, Ipomoea and Coleus, prior to Ferring Nurseries clearing the Summer bedding ready for Winter planting. We plan to overwinter them and if possible use them next Summer.
