Kew Grow Wild Project

At the end of last year Kew launched a Grow Wild project which offered boxes of wildflower seeds to Community groups. AIB applied for 5 boxes and were pleased to receive these early this year.

These were offered to the Horticultural Club, Angmering WI, the Village Hall pre school, William Older School, LNC and St Margaret's Court.

On Friday 13 May AIB joined Sam Tonks and her group at the Lavinia Norfolk Centre to plant wildflowers in their boat planter. They also planted nasturtiums and calendula in a raised bed at the side of their building.

On Wednesday 27 April AIB joined Alan Smith and Fred Potter after they had planted their wildflower seeds in a bare area under a tree at the front of St Margaret's Court.

On the same morning AIB joined the Village Hall pre school children to plant their wildflower seeds in 3 trugs to be placed in their garden. to see more details ...
